Surprised by the state of the place, the party was further caught off guard as they were jumped by several Kenku rogues. ''(Due to hints by the DM next session, it appeared a lethal approach was not the best way to do things.)'' After the scuffle ended, the party discovered a man tied up in a closet. While he was not their target, [[Volothamp Geddram|Volothamp]]'s friend Floon, he had seen some member's of Xanather's Guild take him away to the sewers.

Shortly after, city guards descended upon the building and cleared out the cult corpses. Naki spoke with them to make more sense of the situation, and was instructed to inform the party to "stay out of their business". The session ended with the party going upstairs to take a rest before exploring the rest of the place.
